- Exmark or Cub Cadet zero turn mower preference question?
I'm in the market for a zero turn mower, It will be used for residential only. I own a little under 2 acres and cut a neighbor or 2's lawn a few times a month. I'm looking for some suggestions on what to pick up. My budget is $5000. I think i have it narrowed down to 2 mowers but am open other suggestions. I can get my hands on a new Cub Cadet 54 Enforcer for 5K with 2 year warranty or a used Exmark Lazer Z 48 with just over 100 hours for $4200. Any suggestions or recomendations? Also if you would please give some ammo why you would choose one or the other. I'm an engineer and constantly have to ask why. Thanks in advance! Homeowner says the Exmark was used for his lawn only, was purchased in 2007 and maintenance was performed regularly.

I have cub cadet zero turn lawn mower. Manual says to change oil every 100 engine hrs. This season I only used for like 20 hr. Doeas this mean that i can use for 5yr without an oil change. My gut tells me that i should change oil and filter every seasn b/c oil has a life span of about 6 months. Any answer will be appreciated.
A At the start of the season, change the oil and spark plug. You also want to drain the fuel tank at the end of a season and let it run all of the fuel out of the carb to get a fresh start for the following next season.
