By special request from a fellow cubby fan . "Uncle Ozzie" is at the controls and Tito strolls in on a few frames . Tractor is a 1967 12 hp . l rarely use the old girl now days . Its the first tractor l ever bought so it usually sits around being eye candy . l've only owned it since the late 80's . l found it sitting in an old barn covered in pigeon crap , while helping out on a job site . The young lady (70's) who owned it said it had'nt been used since 1978 when her hubby died . After about 2 hours of hosing it off , cleaning out the fuel bowl and gas tank adding fresh gas and a battery l had it fired up .

A You can search Google. Ebay. Place a Want -It-Now ad on ebay. I think Cub Cadet used to be made by International Harvester Corp . are they out of business ? Today I tried 3 local stores to get 3M brand rubber tape. Finally found another brand rubber tape. What I am getting at is , you may just have to settle for a different brand of snow blower. Sorry I could not be more help.

- Have a question about Lawn Tractor rims and tires!?
I have this 1966 Cub Cadet 122 that I'm going to be painting and stuff. I'd like to change the rims and tires to something a little cooler. Right now, they're painted white, very stock. I'd like to change them to something chrome or polished aluminum. I've looked at ATV and Golf cart rims, but they won't work. They're usually 4 lug and I need 5. It's a 12" rim right now on the back and as far as the tire, I'll probably go with an ATV tire. Here's the question, has anyone changed the rims on their lawn tractor to something other than stock? Also does anyone know where I can get 12" 5 lug rims that look cool for my tractor? I tried asking Cub Cadet, but they told me that they didn't have alternative rims. If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks!
A I know a few guys that are into lawnmower racing. I know 2 of them are using Douglas rims on their mowers. I think they were made for race carts. So I would check the Douglas Wheels and see what they have to offer. http://www.douglaswheel.com/ Or go over to one of the lawnmower racing websites or forums and you might get a better lead on what rims are out there.
