- Having a problem with my cub cadet- mower throws deck belt
I have a cub cadet LT 1554 54 inch deck rider i sharpened the blades greased the spindles changed the belt and now i have a slight vibration nd it throws the belt. I checked the tension pulley and it moves easily maybe too easily any ideas out there? Appreciate your thoughts !
A Bolts for "him" too! On my Craftsman, I had to slightly bend a belt keeper that was keeping it from slipping off the tensioner, in order to remove the belt. Is it possible that it may have bent one in the removal process. It's just a flat metal that stays very close to the flat/top side of belt stopping it from jumping out of the pulley. There is nothing in the manual and no support from Cub Cadet on the weekend. The settings are 2 to 10. I believe the minimum is 2 inches and the maximum is 4 inches, but that is just what an associate at Home Depot said. If someone can confirm, I can use that to chart out where 3" actually sits. :)
A mow a test swatch and then measure it try 5 first then go from there
