- Cub Cadet PTO malfunctioning?
I have a Cub Cadet LT1045 with a 20HP KOhler Courage engine. Every so often the PTO won`t engage . All it does is make a slight hissing noise. If I slow the RPM`S down it engages . Sometimes it`ll be OK for days then act up all day .It has 532 hours on it . Is it the PTO or something else
A the electric clutch is shot , the coil field thats locks up and make the clutch run has a short in it or the conection wire to the main harness is not fully plug in or has oil & grease inside the conector, with that many hrs on it, i would take to a cub cadet and have tested anyway.

- Are there any PTO safety switches besides under the seat| for a Cub Cadet?
I have a Cub Cadet 1711 hydro. The PTO won't enage. I bought a new toggle but I think there is a safety switch that i am missing. Are there any switches besides the button under the seat?
