- Is a hydrostat cub cadet lawn tractor a good pulling tractor?
I have a chance to buy a Cub Cadet riding mower that Id like to turn into a pulling tractor. Im not sure of the year but I know its an older model and it does have shaft drive. ( no belts) However it is hydrostat, is that a problem when it comes to making a pulling tractor?
A A"Pulling" tractor of this type....The Cub is about as good as you can get

Does anybody have a pic of one or details on it. Well I kinda souped it up and I go all over my state and pull sleds with weight on them to the farthest I can go. No one knows what this garden tractor is because international haverster only made 2 of them.
A It is a riding lawn mower. It will be under 20hp. I'm not sure if it has a transmission that will tolerate the stress of a tractor pull like a tractor for used plowing. I wouldn't think so since it is mainly for cutting grass.
