- How do I adjust chain on ZTR 4421 Dixon mower. The two top chains?
A The two small drive chains under the seat normaly do not need adjustment. There should be some slack in them. Now, as far as the outside drive chains, those have a black plastic tensioner that needs to be replaced after a while. Unless there is a drive problem, don't bother with it.
