How do you change the Bearings on the mower deck of the zero turn Grasshopper mower??
A Probably going to need to change out the whole shaft. When bearings go out, they usually score the shaft. I just did this on a Husky mower deck. Only thing I reused was the bolts that held the unit in and the pulley.

- i have a grasshopper mower and am trying to grease the spindels. Cannot figure out how to reach the fitting?
i cannot get the grease adapter to fit between the housing and the spindel. I have even purchased a special adapter at an auto store. I would really appreciate some advice
A I had the same problem on my mower. I purchased a flexible grease line from the auto parts store that replaces the rigid one on the grease gun. Then I bought a 90 degree elbow with the correct threads to screw onto the flex hose. The grease fitting nipple screws into the elbow. The auto parts house should have all of the parts you need. Good luck.
