I am planning on purchasing a husqvarna zero turn mower this year, just wondering if the briggs or kawasaki motor would be the best choice and why?
A Briggs or Tecumseh because they are more common and parts are readily available.

- Why wont my Husqvarna push mower start after I changed the blade?
Like a fool I tipped it over, and afterwards noticed oil in the air filter box. It has gas and still has oil. For the first day it ran poorly (cyclying up and down each few seconds, and dying whever it hit grass) and now doesnt start at all. Its a Honda engine (mower model 5521 chvb). What did I flood, and how do I dry it out? The blade is still on tight, but thats no good if the engine is out.
A Remove the oil drain plug and drain all the oil, tip the mower up on that side so the plug hole is down. Then remove the spark plug and again tilt the mower up so that the spark plug hole is down and drain any oil that is there.Tip the mower so that any oil in the muffler will drain out. The idea as you should by now is to remove all the oil from the mower. Now after replacing the drain plug, refill the oil with just the correct amount, replace the spark plug with a new one. Before replacing the spark plug squirt a good two or three second stream of wd-40 into the spark plug hole or if you have some engine starting fluid. Quickly replace the spark plug and try to start it, It may take several pulls. When it does start there will be whitish smoke for a while.
