i had inherited a john deere 216 im guessing its a early 80's mower.(single cylinder 16 horse kohler) it also came with a deere snow plow. im wanting to sell it because i have no use for it but not sure how much its worth. its in very good condition all freshly painted with a great runing engine. any help would be great.

A An engine for a John Deere machine is just that...Nothing else may take its place without reftting.... Your best bet may be to try to find a junk 216 mower and get the engine...If you can refit...Try Harbor Tool...They usually have pretty cheap engines in stock
