This is a video of a John Deere 116H that i worked on. I was told it would mow for a short while then quit running.On first inspection i saw debris sticking out of the engine covers. I test drove and figured the main problem was a fuel issue.I rebuilt the pulse pump, and also found a electric fuel pump that is not working. It seems to run ok on the pulse pump ,but will be fixing the electric one at a later date when i am able to locate the parts.

- What type of fuel pump is on a 1978 john deere trailfire snowmobile?
my dad has a 1978 john deere trailfire snowmobile that needs a fuel pump. i need to know what type of fuel pump it has so i can find a salvage one.
A Take that one off remembering where the hoses were connected or mark them some how and go to a shop that has after market snow machines parts and show them the pump. most all the machines of that vintage can use any pump with the same amount of hoses coming out of it, they might not look the same but they work the same. make sure the hose that comes from the vacuum side of the engine is making vacuum however. If its been setting a long time check the condition of all the hoses. Good luck

My father has looked everywhere for a fuel injector pump for his 3010 John Deere. I have looked on ebay and contacted our local tractor stores but nobody has one. If anyone knows where we can find one please let me know. It can be new, used, rebuilt, or even another part that can be interchanged.
A John Deere OEM I believe was Roosa-Master for their pumps. Try a diesel rebuild shop or injection service company in your area. Is yours missing or beyond repair, because like one other answer says, can it be rebuilt? Good luck
