- What causes a Kubota mower to start but die when put in gear?
We cannot find any help in the user manual. Please advise if you have experienced this problem and found out how to fix it.
A I would take all the belts off the unit and make sure everything works without belts. It sounds like something is frozen up and when you put it in gear it can't possibly move that frozen part and just dies. Check for free movement.
