- I have a Tecumseh 4hp engine-Model TVS115-560138. I need to find a mower blade adapter for the crankshaft?
I am looking to find a mower blade adapter for this engine. It is either a 1 inch or a 25MM crankshaft. There's no one around these parts that can measure it for me. Does anyone know what size the crankshaft is? The engine once again is a Tecumseh 4hp Model TVS115-560138 Ser 2323J Even more helpful would be an adapter part number, but I figure that's asking too much. Hoping for any help at all and thankful for all given. James
A Can't find the blade mount kit for the Tecumseh, but I linked a couple of sites that have good information on your engine. You can try going to Jack's small engine supply and contacting them - they could help you with specific parts. Good luck!

It doesn't seem to just slide off as the manual indicates.
A take bolt off,if it is stuck wash it and wack it off.all that wet from grass has it stuck.
