- I cannot start my swisher T1360 mower. could it be out of time and how do I correct it if it is?
it was working until I ran it out of gas. changed spark plug, battery is good etc.
A trya few things. First put fresh new gas in it. Also run some fuel cleaner/ stabilizer through it. There is a product called "Stabil" that works well. Check the carburator for some buildup or varnish. Check your air filter and all the fittings to see if they are tight. Engines need Fuel, Air and Spark to work, so make sure all three are getting to the cylinder. DO NOT PUMP THE THROTTLE CABLE TO PRIME THE CARB. You could flood the carb and then you have to wait for a long time to try it again. There is a product called "thrust" which is a aerosol ether that you spray into the air intake and can help get the engine started until it pulls some gas through the lines to the carb.

We have 10 acres to mow and are looking into purchasing a ZTR mower with a 60" or greater deck. Swisher seems to be the most reasonably priced, but I would like to know if anyone has personal experience with this brand.
